Revolt

Spotting him at last Friday's Cleo 50 Most Eligible Bachelors Finals Party with his strong, deep and a little husky vocals, Eli T. was one bachelor that caught our attention when he started singing. I guess we (or at least for myself) always admire singers especially guys with husky voices when they sing.

Honored to have taken a picture with him and telling him that we very much enjoyed his mini segment during the party, this 29-year old Underground Electro-Pop Sensation has recently released his much anticipated debut album "Revolt" - a manifestation of his journey behind the scenes as a Singer/songwriter/Producer, which is now in stores at HMV, The Esplanade Store, and Starbucks.

Eli began his musical pilgrimage at a young age, starting with the piano, followed by joining the choir and the school symphony orchestra playing the flute, oboe and saxophone.

He also spent his years behind the scenes working with international big-wigs like Disney, Wang Lee Hom, Wilbur Pan and Sarah Geranimo, before finally stepping out into the limelight in early 2011. First by being featured in the Singapore Arts Festival, then being cast in Singapore's Summer smash play "Beauty Kings", and in a series of festivals at Singapore's premiere live music venue "The Esplanade".

Do you recall watching this short film, 'I Want to Remember' for the Singapore Arts Festival 2011 which was aired on television? Bap-bap-bada-dap-pah..looking back to remember, when it was better...

With his first smash-hit "Record Breaker" and two award nominations for 'Best Singer/Songwriter' and 'Best Solo Artist' in the 'All Indie 2012 Music Awards' held in Hollywood, we wish him the very best in his singing career.

Want to listen to Eli T. sing live, why not head down to the following venues for his Album Promo? Only 5 days left. So, hope to see you there.

We should have more support for music in Singapore. Another voice I very much enjoy and appreciate listening to is 22-year old local song-writer, Ince Chua. She gained national recognition after being the first Singapore solo artist to be invited to the prestigious South by Southwest (SXSW) Music Festival.

So, I'll end here with a video by Inch Chua for all to enjoy.

Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Love,
Ashley.
